For me it is important to quickly get in touch with customers by phone or by e-mail. I get new customers day by day. I got tired to enter their contact information to the TheBat! and to the phone afterwards and got upset when I didn't find the right contact in the phone and couldn't access the TheBat! (for example, when driving the car). So I decided to find a synchronizing software to sync contacts which, as I found out, there were many for Outlook. Finally, I found TheBat! Sync which I've been using from November 2008. The application is very helpful. Any contact entered to PDA phone after connecting it to PC appears in the TheBat! address book and vice versa. The main fields about 20 are transferred correctly (I didn't check all of them).
That's what I would like to see in the next versions of the TheBat! Sync:
- Identification of the contact group and synchronizing.
- Absolute independence of the application from Microsoft ActiveSync and its bondage to PDA because ActiveSync often (once a month, for sure) loses partnership with my PDA and I have to start synchronizing once again (not only TheBat!) right from the start.
- New TheBat! Sync released for Android. I keep thinking of migrating to Android.
After some months of usage TheBat!, I really started to miss advantages of freshly updates of my Pocket Informant contacts. The Bat was not synchronizing with my ETEN. Also there was no way to export my new contacts to Outlook in easy way. After some web search, I managed to find THE BAT SYNC software - a way to keep my PDA up-to date with The Bat contacs changes. I installed it and below are results of my experiences:
- my contacts in The Bat were approx 2700 records.
- I managed to update my Pocket Informant contacts however first synchronization took me ca 5 hours!!!!.
- It also synchronized my OUTLOOK contacts back on my PC!!! Now I have all contacts in proper order.
presently all sync. are very fast. Less than 3-5 mins.

I just tried The Bat! Sync and loved it, it is a little tool which works very nicely with my Cruise. This one permits to sync TB address book with pocket outlook contacts.
